Hello! I have not disappeared from the face of the earth, at least not yet. 
It feels like I haven’t been busy, but I have! My January roundup post at Where the Moon Shines explains it all. Just that I have been a lazy blogger is all. Boo!
Tonight, I’ve got some news: I bought two e-books thru the Amazon Kindle Deals. I’ve said it before and will perhaps keep on saying it – I prefer printed books over e-books. But it was hard to stay away from a good deal.
Locally, Mister Monday retails at P252.00 ($6.30 at P40 conversion), while The Thief Lord retails at P336.00 ($8.40). Doing the math, I see that I’ve saved P348.80 ($8.72) – the cost of another printed book!
I liked Garth Nix’s writing in Sabriel, first book of the Abhorsen trilogy. Mister Monday is the first book in another series and at $2.99, I decided to it was worth checking out. If I like it, I’ll get the printed versions of the rest.
The next author, Cornelia Funke, is no stranger to me. I’ve read Inkheart and Inkspell, and will eventually read Inkdeath to round off that trilogy.
